Bad Infection, fevr, and stitching kinda
Well I went to the dr's on Monday and told him i was in pain. Turns out I had a 101 fever and after a quick one hour lab wait I have a bad bladder infection. So onto antibiotics i go. This one is completely new to me its called nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin EQ), anyway after two days of meds, tons of water, pain killers, and excess amounts of sleep I am feeling much better. Still have a bit of pain but i can deal.
Anyway yesterday i was able to sit down and stitch some. I know its not much but this is what I got done during Flubber. No I had never actually seen it all the way through though i saw the begining 15 minutes like a trillion times, LOL.
Today the kids want to go swimming and yes I think i could use a nice day swimming and lounging by the pool. Then when we come home we need to clean house and my laundry really needs putting away and towels washed.
Oh! Today I hit my 8 lbs lost mark! Woohoo! This definitly brightens my day!

Rose sampler and MLOTS
Okay so I got bored doing one part at a time so I thought with my last three parts I would just go across so there is no need for me to end my thread and start again. I also didnt want to keep moving my hoop so I took MLOTS off the scroll frame and put my rose sampler on it so no more hoop marks! Yay! Anyway I thought I would also show you MLOTS entirely since I had to remove it anyway. She really needs a bigger scroll frame though, perhaps next month I can get one.
And I leave you with a picture of Kiley looking all cute as can be with her new baby. Her sister also got this same doll. But as not to get confused, they each got a different race of doll. ^_^

A finish, WIP and July 4th
Wow 2000 posts on my blogroll in a month! But i am reading through them. sorry if I don't comment on every single one but I am reading them!
I also found out that we may not get Fort Carson, Colorado as we had hoped. DH hasn't ever been deployed and so they want to send us to Fort Bragg, Carolina where he will deploy in a matter of months. I really hope we can get things fixed soon. The guy who does the orders is trying to help us out. In the meantime DH leaves tomorrow night for 4 months to Romania for training. He should be back in time for the kids birthdays though.
Also DH and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on the 6th of July! It was nasty out and we had no babysitter that could be trusted to properly care for Destiny so we spent the day having a movie day and having subway for dinner. I know it doesn't sound like much but it was really nice. We all cuddled underneath a blanket on the couch and just enjoyed the day.
Happy stitching everyone!

Stitching and family visits
Labels: Destiny, EMS 2008 Rose Sampler, FS Exchange, Kiley, Knitting

Here is my Rose Sampler as of yesterday. I'm almost done with part 9 and I have to redo one of the initials because I stitched a G instead of an H as when I was looking at the letters I forgot about the missing I part of the alphabet. And then I am off to finish up the last 3 parts though I think I will do the border up first on those three parts so to help keep me from having to frog any.
Well, I am off as my mom arrives at 1020 this morning and its about 200 K to the Frankfurt airport so I am going to take my rose sampler with me and try and stitch in the car. I have been up since 0445 so I may take a nap, depends on my mood I guess.
Happy Stitching and have a great weekend! I'll try and blog during these next three weeks but as both sides of the family are in town, I don't know how much time I will have. June 19th we find out if my sis is having a boy or girl so be sure to check out her blog if you haven't done so! It's here

EMS Rose Sampler and Batista's results

Batista saw the vet yesterday and his diagnosis is a flea bit him and he had an allergic reaction and the hole he chewed was where the flea bit him! Plus by making that hole, he gave himself an infection. So she gave me anti-itch shampoo, anti-itch pills, 10 days of antibiotics, and Frontline. Total = $109.00 USD!!! It was those anti-itch pills, they were $48.00! I was in shock! I tell you I think a cone would have been cheaper! Oh, Batitsta is officially 6 months old and weighs now 53.3 lbs!
Happy Stitching!

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments and concerns, as always it helps when I read those comments. I'll let you all know how I'm doing with this. :) Thank you again.

EMS Rose Sampler
NON STITCHY NEWS:
I went to the Dr's this morning to check on my blood pressure because I have hypertensiona nd though I am on Atenonol for it the last Dr said my BP was high twice now and I needed to come in another time and have it checked. Well, Dr Bentley was new and so I wanted to go to my Dr who knows my history and all. So I saw Dr win and also had the nurses use the manual method to check my blood pressure because the machines always read me as high. Well it was normal so no med change there. Thn he started asking me how my home life was going and the kids and the school, blah, blah, blah and anyway turns out I have depression. Well, after that diagnoses that explained a whole lot. I am not so depressed i want to run off and kill myself. But I am enough that he has started me on a low dose of Zoloft to see how I feel in a month, if not then we will up the dosage and wait another month. He also suggested I go to the counseling Dr's there but I can't open up to complete strangers, especially doctors, I always feel like they are judging me and wondering if I am lying or just being a drama queen. Yes, I worry continously about everything and anything and so I am so stressed and depressed it has resulted in chronic pain. I will explain this all to DH tonight and see how he takes the news. Fingers crossed everyone.

Pictures!
Labels: EMS 2008 Rose Sampler, FS Exchange, Peacock Stitching Chair, SanMan Originals

Monthly SMO SAL. I started at the lower right corner but this one is a bit hard to get into.

Here is my EMS Rose Sampler with parts 5 and 6 completed. I did do a few stitches on this months part 7 but not enough worth another picture yet. And so I then got a bit tired of the continous DMC 333 so I heard my peacock stitching chair calling out to me to work on it so i did! I continued working on the arms and am on the last row before completion. The fabric and colours look a bit faded in the picture but I assure you they are darker. So here it is:

Our computer crashed too so I am not sure how long it will be before I am online again so please be patient with me. I'll be back as much as I can.

Hedgehogs And Stitching
Also we were moving some furniture at around 11 pm the other night when my DH stepped outside for some air and he saw this little hedgehog running across our front yard. I had to run and get the kids after he showed me. Yes, I woke them up to show them, but he had curled into a ball by the time they got out there and Kiley got scared of it and Destiny was eager for it to unroll and run so she could see its not just a ball of spikes. You can see his foot on part of our hose under that ball.

Sniffle
On the 15th we were going to buy Destiny a bunny for herself. Well DH left to get an oil change done on the car and while he was gone cocoa died, yep a horrible death that made me cringe and still haunts me in my sleep. No one killed him, OK? He was trying to get up after his peaceful nights rest and couldn't lift his head. So he started moving all four legs like crazy throwing litter out of the cage and then he started making these noises and this went on for like 10 minutes and the girls saw and it was just horrible! And you know how I can't even get near animals once they die so I stayed like 10 feet from his cage and he was in the main room and I couldn't bring myself to get close enough to put a sheet over his cage or nothing. I just texted DH to come home right away and stood on the balcony till he got home. Then we tried to call the vet cause Germany has laws saying you can't bury an animal. Well they didn't answer so we drove by and it turns out they were closed the whole day for surgery! So we asked some bike MP's and they had no idea and the chief at OMP told us to call pest control and then they told us they found someone who for 45 Euro would come get his body. Well, I am not paying 70 USD to dispose of our poor dead bunny and DH agrees so DH took him off post to the woods and buried him where no one could see what he was doing. Its easy since there's nothing but woods here. Well, destiny was all torn up and crying for hours and Kiley was a bit upset and kept saying "My bunny died, cocoa is dead" so DH decided Kiley would get a new bunny and Destiny would have to wait till next payday. That pissed me off since Destiny had been waiting 2 weeks as it was and it wasn't her fault we lost Cocoa on payday. Its Irony really that he dies the same day we were going to buy another one. Anyway we went and got Kiley a bunny and then did our grocery shopping the next day and I wouldn't let Mike put anything in the cart so I saved us $100, anyway so I then took out Euro and we went and let Destiny get her bunny. We got 2 boys both about 6 months old. Kiley's is cuddly and fluffy with long fur and loves to be held by adults. destiny's is feisty as hell and is taking a bit to get use to being held but doing good and he sat in destiny's lap for an hour today on the couch while she played a video game so he'll be fine. Here's a laugh though, their names? Kiley's' is Bobby (daddy helped her pick it) and Destiny chose to name hers: ready?? Michael! LMAO I told Mike he should be flattered she wants to name her bunny after her daddy. He laughed.
The top picture is Kiley's Bunny and the bottom one is Destinys and just to prove to you all that I have not just been doing nothing there is my stitching for the last 2 days. I am working on Part 5 of the EMS Rose sampler, I am kind of ignoring my other pieces right now though I do need to work on my SMO SAL this month too. Sorry about the blurry picture. Oh! I also have a kidney infection too! It was so bad I could hardly walk but I got some antibiotics and am OK now.

EMS Rose Sampler along with July 4th
Destiny goes into the hospital on the 15th to change over her insulin and not a moment too soon as I am having to give her extra rapid insulin since her 30/70 mixture is not working so well anymore. The nurse at the school is finding out the same thing too so she is checking her sugars more often to make sure they stay down.
And I have to show this pic of Kiley. She was holding Cocoa and said "mommy take my picture!" and she posed this way on her own. Can we say possible model? :)

EMS Rose Sampler and Peacock Stitching Chair
And today I worked on Part 4 of the EMS Rose Sampler. I completed most of part 4 so I feel I accomplished something today. Next week I can complete part 4 and start part 5 if there is time. I may catch up after all on my regular rotation. :)
Tomorrow Destiny has her Bridging ceremony where she bridges from being a Daisy scout to a Brownie scout. Her daddy won't make it since he is working night shifts again. He had to replace someone who is having marriage problems and cannot attend work for whatever reason. And DH also goes tomorrow to get new uniforms and gear for his deployment and so we have no idea when he will return and then he has to go to work again so he will be sleeping on the bus and inbetween missions. And I am betting come Wednesday mornign when he is finally off work he will sleep all day long. Anyway its late here and so i am off to bed. But I do leave you with this picture of Kiley holding our bunny Cocoa. He is well adapted to our family now and allows Kiley to take him everywhere. Oh! Also I am being honored on May 21st as a volunteer for the elementary school. It was a complete surprise to me! They are honoring all the volunteers. :)

EMS Rose Sampler and F&S Exchange
Now I am working on my towel exchange and am really happy because the original design I was going to use didn't thrill me but I found one last night that I really love and am much happier with and then I can get back to my rotation for a bit. I also had signed up for the Fair and squares July 4th round but I have until June 2nd to get that mailed out so no hurry. :)

Peacock stitching Chair #2, EMS Rose Sampler, and Exchanges
Okay so you know how I told you I had the itch to start something new? well the Peacock stitching chair won out. In one day i completed the scissor fob, chair sides, the front drawer, and part of the arms. I also am showing you the progress on my EMS Rose Sampler. Its really bothering me that I am behind on this so I have been working on it today to try and get it caught up especially since I am still on part 3 and part 5 is to be released in a week. So yes, I am trying my best to get caught up before I get too far behind. But soon I have to quit becuase my Mothers day towel exchange is due to mail out May 1st and I haven't even started on it yet but no worries! I will complete it in time. :)
I just heard today that my partner has received my Monchromatic biscournu exchange on the floss moms board. Rachel I am so glad you liked it and all the goodies inside. :) I chose Green as my theme and used many colors of greens to stitch her 5 inch biscournu and even used a mint green fabric to stitch it on. I used a green flower button for the center of the biscournu. If any of you remember it is the same buttons I used on both DD's sweaters, I just changed out the center so both center and outside would be green. Here is what I sent to her:
The front and back of the biscournu before stitching together.
On a bad side, I have not stitched Thursday through Sunday because I have been a bit down. My DH is getting ready for his first deployment at the end of the summer to the worst place of all and its not Iraq. They may stick him with another unit and that would move us from bamberg to K town, which i am dreading. I have finally settled here and things are going good with the school and Destiny's diabetes German Dr and I don't know what they have set up in K town not to mention its huge there and the base is divided up into four bases and I don't drive here, the orads are too small and make me nervous so I never bothered to try and get my liscence here. DH's SGT is trying to make it a temporary thing that he goes with this unit so we can stay in Bamberg which I am asking everyone pray that it happens and of course for DH's safe return. I just heard today from my upstairs neighbor that her DH who is also an 88M like my DH was injured today while driving a convoy, it was just his leg but still it makes me worry more. Her little girl who is Destiny's age is sitting on their balcony while her mommy is on the phone looking as depressed as can be. I just wanted to go up there and hug her.
DH has food poisioning today too. Turns out I had some expired eggs in my refrigerator and he ate them. I don't really cook eggs so when I do I check the expiration date on te package but he didn't and he ate a few yesterday. Now he is vomiting and can't keep anything down and has been in bed since they let him come hoem finally at 1500. I feel for him, I hate that this has to just run its course and there's nothing I can do to make him feel better. So this is my life lately, hopefully things will get better soon but as I am not working this week it just leaves more time to worry and stress and when I am like that it is hard for me to sit down and stitch.

EMS 2008 Rose Sampler and Dragon Dreams
And I proudly present this little dragon, He is my DD's Destiny first completed project and she even added the beads herself! This is the 48 hour dragon dreams freebie. I'm so proud of her! She is now on to making a butterfly.
