Okay I have been stitching but they are for some exchanges I am in so I can't post pictures yet until they are recieved. One goes out tomorrow and the other one not for another two weeks. So now I can concentrate on stitching on something I can show you so stay tuned!
Happy easter everyone! Hope you all had wonderful days. Here are some pictures of how our day went. Basically they searched and opened their Easter baskets and then we dyed eggs (anyone ever had an egg float before you cook it when you put it in water? I had two do that to me but they sank when cooked) then we went to the bowling alley and had some easter bowling since the kids got to play for 75 cents per game, and then we came back and spent the afternoon with the kids and great grandparents playing with their new Tweety bird balls in the back yard.

How cute the girls look..Happy Easter too you all.
Love the photos, your girls are cute
Happy Easter! The girls are so cute.
Looks like your sweet girls had a lovely time, Heidi... they are so precious! :-)
Floating is a sign of a fresh egg. The pocket of air at the round end of the egg is larger the fresher the egg is, so a really fresh egg should at least stand on its pointed end when put into water.
Cute pictures, it looks like a fun time was had by all.

I decided to leave a comment after seeing the comment above about eggs which is completely incorrect. Eggs that float are stale and should NOT be eaten, I copied this from a web site for you. "How to tell how old a raw egg is while it is safely tucked away in its shell could seem a bit tricky, but not so. Remember the air pocket? There is a simple test that tells you exactly how much air there is. All you do is place the egg in a tumbler of cold water: if it sinks to a completely horizontal position, it is very fresh; if it tilts up slightly or to a semi-horizontal position, it could be up to a week old; if it floats into a vertical position, then it is stale. The only reason this test would not work is if the egg had a hairline crack, which would allow more air in. That said, 99 per cent of the time the cook could do this simple test and know precisely how the egg will behave. In my opinion, all eggs should be used within two weeks if at all possible. An extra week is okay, but three weeks is the maximum keeping time."
You are a creative mom... and you will have creative girls as well for sure.. our children like to follow their parents' step
