Renaissance Fair

 My mom and Kiley had to try on the hats. That was fun ^_^

 Some of the costumes they sold. Aren't they pretty?

 These faces crack me up. They had them on all kinds of stuff.

 Had to buy the girls jingly bells ^_^ They wiggled the whole day just to jingle. So cute!

 And they got to practice there archery skills too. Destiny slayed the dragon while Kiley killed an evil cat.

 Lunchtime of smoked turkey legs and soda, yum!

 We watched Celtic Legacy while we enjoyed our lunch and after the show they autographed our CD's ^_^

 These are soy lotion candles, omg i love em!

And this is a hair piece i bought. It was a bit pricey but i love it! I'll have to put it in the girls hair so u can see how it looks but this one piece can be used in over 60 different ways! and the design is over 600 yrs old if i remember correctly.

Happy 10th Anniversary!

Wow where has time gone? Hubby and I celebrated 10 yrs married and 13 yrs together. We had a couples massage, couples Mani/pedi's and then i got my hair done. Then hubby took me out to this restaurant on the mountains I've been hinting at him about. It was an awesome day all in all. Oh and 10 yrs means a new ring ^_^ so i got a 3 ring set standing for past, present, and future in the dress blues set i have been eyeing since they came out.

Zoo Day!

 So we got to feed the giraffe's, that have gone green so they got fed lettuce ^_^ We feed them every time we go, its so much fun.

 But it was so hot that even the animals had to take naps.

 Destiny had to read every sign about the animals esp the white tigers

 This statue was by the restrooms and so we snapped a pic of Destiny while we waited for the others to finish up.

 And a white peacock even joined us for lunch ^_^

 Daddy was home on R&R so we had to get some pictures in. The girls were over the moon the 2 weeks he got to be home.

 Towards the end of the day we were all so tired we were just being goofy.

 My mom and I imitating the girls per the request of Kiley.

Happy 30th birthday to me! DH couldn't be here since he is out in the field but we celebrated last year. My dad even made me a cake.

See? I have been stitching! Its not much sadly but my urge to work on her has returned so with any luck it will stay. I am still working on my moms blanket too. I have only done another 2 squares on it. But she was up here recently and I showed it to her and she loves it and said she cannot wait till i get it completed. She wants it to be about as big as a twin size blanket. But honestly this will probably be one of the few last blankets I do since I want to concentrate more on my stitching.

Homework is just so exhausting!

I just had to share this! My poor Destiny fell asleep on my bed while doing her homework tonight. She is finishing up the 2nd grade and her teacher gives them all several hours of homework each night but its been a good thing.

Happy Mother's Day!

Here is what DH got me for Mothers Day! What a sweetie! The girls also handmade me some adorable cards as well. I truly feel spoiled today! We spent the remainder of the day curled up watching TV and doing some other things together as well. All in all it was a great day!

Newest Crochet Blanket

These are each individual squares I am attaching as they are stitched so there wont be any joining at the end. I told my mom I would crochet her a blanket and I am hoping to have this one completed by the time her birthday hits in May. My goal is one square per day, more if I feel like it. That way this will be done in time for her birthday and it leaves me time during the day to cross stitch as well if I want. ^_^ It is being done in these four colors since my mom is a fan of the Victorian Era.

The girls on our hike which ended up being a climb

DH and I can you tell i hide the panic/anxiety attack well?? I have a huge fear of heights/falling and this climb pushed them too far. I was lying in our room for a good 2 to 3 hours afterwards with chest pains from my panic/anxiety attack. Oh and the waterfall we did all this too see was frozen solid! All the activities we planned we couldn't do because there was no snow so hiking/climbing was the only choice. Thankfully DH brought his laptop and we stayed in and watch TV shows for the remainder of Saturday evening. 

The cookhouse where we ate all our meals and it also had a tiny gift shop mainly filled with books and sweaters. You could also play board games in there as well.
