Day 4 SMO SAL, an exchange and Puppy News!
ALSO: If you look under user profiles on the Fair and Square blog you can see my work profiled on the top. Look here. I'm so excited!
And on Puppy News:
Good News: Oskar will be arriving around Oct 15th instead of November 24th. The people that have him right now decided to drive the extra 15 minutes and go to a certified vet thank god cause its also saving us about $200.
Bad News: Oskar's brothers Willy and George decided to beat up on him and pulled his front leg too hard so he went to the vet who said he had a pulled ligament by his elbow but no worries, a week on inflamatories and some rest and he'll be all better. ALSO we found out he is allergic to plastic! Can you believe that?? Apparently it is common for mini dachsunds but she did say there won't be any harm during his short 15 hour flight here. So we will have to buy a metal kennel for him and he can only have metal food dishes but thats fine as thats what we had bought him.

Monthly SMO SAL. I started at the lower right corner but this one is a bit hard to get into.
Here is my EMS Rose Sampler with parts 5 and 6 completed. I did do a few stitches on this months part 7 but not enough worth another picture yet. And so I then got a bit tired of the continous DMC 333 so I heard my peacock stitching chair calling out to me to work on it so i did! I continued working on the arms and am on the last row before completion. The fabric and colours look a bit faded in the picture but I assure you they are darker. So here it is:
Our computer crashed too so I am not sure how long it will be before I am online again so please be patient with me. I'll be back as much as I can.

Day 7 SMO Happy Dance
Destiny went into the hospital last Sunday before and is still there 2 weeks later. They said maybe on Sunday she can come home but before that they had said tomorrow so who knows? But I utterly hate being up at the hospital all day long everyday 24/7. My DH goes up on his day off which is only maybe half day each week. I am hoping she does come home cause I feel bad if I don't go up there but I am eager to come home once I am there.

SMO Bunny
I have a finish! Its small but a finish. I did this one up because on the SMO board a fellow member is teaching us how to do up cards so i thought i would participate. Hey you never know I could learn something new. :) There is more stitching to add onto the bunny but she is going to give it to us with the instructions so expect to see this little guy again.

Day 8 SMO SAL
Okay after a day and half here is what I have completed on Mys Day 8 SAL. Why yes that is only half a bear, why is he only half done? Because he is boring to stitch, I just don't normally stitch bears and am now thinking I should have used half stitches, mine can be different right? I have until June 5th to finish this one as thats when June Day 7 starts. So maybe I can actually get him finished before the deadline. This one is just hard to find the motivation. And yes I have abanoned my rotation. My stitching mojo is depleted big time so I am stitching what I can to help keep it going as I feel awful when i haven't made one x in anything.

SMO SAL Day 9 & My Lady Of Snow
Heres what I completed of the SMO SAL Day 9on Tuesday. Hopefully next week it will be finished. On the May 5th we start Day 8.
And here is my lady of snow as of last night. I got a few hours in on her but I really feel like I am going nowhere fast with her even though I get in at least 100 stitches each week. Maybe its all the grey I am doing, I may have to do some of the blue to the left next week, maybe that will motivate me some more.
We got our money in from the government yesterday too! They gave us 1,750 for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. I would love to stash shop with some of this but its going to my DH laptop for when he deploys and also I bought an elliptical machine so I can workout at home and then the rest is getting saved because on May 24th is a 4 day weekend so we are going to go to Legoland which i have to price today since we are going to need to buy Euros before we go. I hope the Euro rates get better by then. I always feel like we lose so much money converting from USD to Euro.

TOL Sampler Happy Dance!
18 count Beige Aida
Started: January 2007
Completed: March 30, 2008
I just had to finish this, it was getting on my nerves, I was so close to a finish. So I completed it last night and then started on my monochromatic biscournu exchange. I know my exchange deadlines are like a month away but I want to get them finished before I realize the dates a week away, lol. I'll probably do like 1 each week or something so I can still stitch on something to show on this blog. My DMC color that i needed for my 2008 EMS sampler arrived so after I complete the biscournu for my exchange I am going to work on that so I can catch up.
Oh! I forgot to post this last time, its the Day 10 SAL for SMO members. Heres my progress so far as of a few weeks ago. I still have to fill in the castle, stitch the 3 snowmen and then the snowflakes. I just completed the snow and the windows.
